@ManicTheManic level up enough to kill a super mutant, kill a ton theres alot in the dc ruins bottom right corner of the map. anyway so kill them and they usually have hunting rifles or assault rifles if you want the unique rifle ol’ painless find the republic of dave in the top right corner of the map pickpocket dave go to his safe and open it there you go.

lol i love my ol painless, i remember being able to vats 4-5 guys at once with that bad boy, nothing is more satisfying than getting a 1% headshot and watch the bullet fly all the way and knock their heads off ^^ also, props on listening to GNR xD three dog is the shit

It’s seperate from the other guns in the game IMO. yeah. . the hunting rifle is one tough bastard.

I love the hunting rifle. Real wasteland gun. Awesome tricked out with the weapon mod kits mod too. Silenced, scoped and extended clip.

eh I play with a hunting rifle and no crosshair. A lot of fun realy. I play a hunter/scavanger and I’m currently in Point Lookout hunting Hillfolk and Mireurks. A lot of fun with the ol’ huntin’ rifle!

just take some time in the city super mutants at low levels carry them and raiders keep that in mind

hunting rifle is the best damn gun you can get! the mirv is to time consuming and the firelance is to rare but not the hunting rifle plenty of ammo and very cheap! all it needs is a scope!
do the u gotto shoot them in the head quest, u sstart it in the underworld, thats how u get the armor =p

i got hunting rifle of the gaurd at the top of megaton, blew him of his platform and got it of him
Many raiders and other enemies have hunting rifles, gather a few and repair to the point you have a good conditioned one is my advice.
