no. that will work fine. Unless you are competing you will do fine with that scope.
That scope will work just fine being it is a . 22 . That weapon has a limited range in which a 4 power scope will work excellent. I myself have been using a 4 power scope on my . 22 for years now and have never wished for anything else.
that bushnell will work fine for that rifle. Walmarts also carry tasco scopes and I believe their 3-9X40 is about the same price if you want some more magnification.
I would say that would be plenty for a . 22. I bought a 3×9x40 for my Ruger 10/22 but that was only because it was a really good deal. Otherwise I would have just bought the 4x fixed power. I have a 4×32 on my Keltec SU-16C that is awesome. Easy close range target acquisition and still enough magnification for longer shots.
