Well, unless you guys have some sort of weird restriction on optics, I really can’t see why.

  2. RDG78 says:

Just to be safe, ask your local authorities if there are any restrictions on optical devices. I suspect you’ll at least have to pay some import taxes, which may negate the savings.

  3. MasterPython says:

No. It’s illegal to export scopes, guns, gun parts, ammunition or ammunition components from the US without a permit which you can’t get. This is US law. Canada does not care about anything but frames and receivers as long as you register them and pay taxes.

You people that gave me thumbs down don’t know what you are talking about. Restricting the sale of sporting arms to Canadians is Bush’s way of stopping the CIA from giving terrorists guns and RPGs. The ATF look for Canadian plates at gun shows spefically to bust people for illegaly smuggling stuff out of the country.

you can, but you’d need to pay tariff, a tax for imported goods, unless you don’t want to report it.

  5. Johnny says:

    MasterPython is 100% correct

  6. Irv S says:

AFAIK only actual firearms and ammo are controlled.
The scope is harmless alone and shouldn’t be a problem.
