Not to be a wise guy; but the best thing for you to do is contact the scope manufacturer and ask them what rings to use in order to mount that scope as low as possible above the bore. In your case the company to contact is Leupold, itself. (Because they make the rings, too!)
NOTE: If you want a quick detach mount, now would be the right time to ask.
Any time I have purchased accessories before the gun arrived, I ended-up regretting it.
Be patient and wait for the rifle and scope to arrive. THEN buy the base and rings.
Another thing, take your good ole time mounting the scope. I usually mount the base using Locktite on the base screws and allow it to cure for 2 days before I put the rings and scope on.
