I use ONLY Nikon scopes on ALL my firearms, Usually from Titanium Series Never had a problem one with any of them then again these are the higher priced better quality scopes Nikon produces. And have lifetime guarantee.
Read the fine print. Nikons are made in the Phillipines. Leupolds are made in the USA.
I own 2 Nikon scopes that I have relegated to my 22 rimfire rifles. They are not the scopes that Leupold are. . . mostly, on the variable power Nikon, when I move the power up and down the image in the scope becomes blurred. If I try to refocus on to make the image clearer, then the crosshairs become blurred. Then, when I moved the power adjustment downward, I have to readjust the focus all over again.
Didn’t know Nikon made a bad one. I love my 4. 5-14 buckmaster with the bdc reticle. It’s got the side focus. Just get the best model you can afford. The more you spend, the better the optics are. If all you can afford is the buckmaster, you still won’t be disappointed.
I own two Nikon ProStaff scopes and they are the best in my opinion.
My wife uses the deer slugger/hunter
good scopes but leupold is american made and as good, and if somthing does go wrong takes half the time to have replaced or fixed
Nikon Monarch III 8-32×50 SF. In my opinion I think Schmidt & Bender produce a far better scope.
