Also great to use with the Advantage Arms . 22LR Conversion Kit. My 10 years old son finally got a chance to shoot my Glock using the red dot.
Good job great vid
Phewee I don’t like glocks.
Really good video. I was thinking about gettign the Mako Mount for my G20 to set it up for Hunting.
what is the thing called around the barrel of the gun that the scope is attached too? is that like a rail? i like it where can i find it
I have the 23C compensated model. From yours, does it look like the compensator would be blocked by the top rail? I’m looking at getting one of these, but don’t want to melt the rail or damage my MARS from the flash.
looks great
how much did you pay for the red dot?
thank god u made this video i am in the works on an sbring a glock and i was looking for some mount to put a red dot on and your like the only person with a video going into good depth on the mount.
is the rail easy 2 take off cuz i was thinken on getten 4 my G19
ur life not mine. . .
I actually read the reviews on cheaperthandirt and came across the same comment you did. The reason I came on youtube was to make sure that the ejection port was cleared, definitely good that you brought that up
The gun was not only safety checked and cleared before the beginning of the video, but I pointed it at the view finder, not me. It’s not a camera that has an eye piece. I didn’t point it at myself one time, EXCEPT after the part where the gun was actually broken down and field stripped. (ON VIDEO). Thanks for your concern though. Safe shooting.
dude you pointed this thing at urself several times during the video
sorry I didn’t answer you sooner, just been busy. The mount was bought from cheaperthandirt It was about $40. The mini dot came from Midway. It was about $80 shipped.
Props. . .
My Glock does have the lower rail on the barrel, so it should work. Where did you order this from? And how much did it cost? And how much did the red dot sight cost to?
By the way, The weapon in the vid is a Glock 22 . 40 cal. To put this sight on it has to be the Glock 22 tactical. Not the service pistol without the rail. The rail is how it attaches to the front.
The sight mount will accept any type of sight, It has normal 1913 style picatinny rails on the top. It will accept any Red Dot/holo sight you could put on it. I have even seen people put Aimpoint Comp 3’s and Eotechs on them, Personally I think that’s just going over board, but to each his on. Just sight it in for the appropriate distance and it’s off to the races. (No Pun Intended).
I’d just like to say thanks for this! My dad’s giving me his Glock for a pistol competition and I was wondering if there were other sights that could be mounted on it. It’s a Glock 22 . 40 cal, any help would be appreciated!
Thanks a bunch.
you do have to replace the trigger pin, but you can just remove 2 allen head screws to take of the optic mount, you do not have to remove the pin again, just simply store away the original trigger pin just in case you don’t want to keep the one with the 2 screw holes on either side installed. it is a very very easy install,
Just a quick question about the optic mount. Every body has them for sale but they don’t really say how it installs. Do you have to replace the trigger pin, and is it then removable without having to change the pin back? I am looking to build an entry level race gun with my new G21.
looks like a burris fast fire scope
Absolutely beautiful!
