It’s a Winchester Model 70, іn .270win., аnd іt’s a carbine (shorter barrel). Wood stock, gοοd condition, wіth a 3×9 variable Redfield scope, аnd gοοd looking leather sling. Serial number ѕtаrtѕ wіth a “G” ѕο wе know іt’s a newer gun.
Nο, іt’s nοt a pre-64.

Do you know how old it is ? a pre 64 Winchester carries a premium value
selling to a gun dealer would probably net you 300 to 350 if you’re lucky. Take off the scope as well as the sling. dealers are well supplied with this kind of used equipment.
Today is a bit late to start doing research.
When you get to the show look at where the similar models sitting on the tables are priced. That’s how much people are NOT willing to pay. (That’s why they’re still sitting there. ) You need to ask a reasonable amount less and you might have a chance.
What your rifle might be worth on gunbroker, or in a shop that can afford to let it sit in a rack for months is irrelevant. If you’re out to sell it today, your market is limited to the people who are at that place at that time.
Of course if you don’t NEED to sell and are just trolling for suckers, price it as high as you think you can get away with.
