@mtroutbum
With medium rings I don’t think you should have any problems the 20moa rail won’t change the clearance (maybe technically it may change it a few mm but not enough to count) I have medium rings and they are fine.
If you didn’t have the 20 moa rail, how do you think the bolt handle clearance would be? I’m looking at putting this scope on a weatherby vanguard in 300 win mag with medium rings but I’ve heard of people having issues with bolt clearance. Also, do you have any thoughts on the Leupold VX-III 4. 5-14 long range scope?
i totally know what you mean, if i had a digital camcorder id be doing the same thing. Especially since all the gun reviews on the Mossberg 100 ATR’s are all old models, i bought the newer relased model with fluted barrle and LBA adjustable trigger, i love to do reveiws on that and different ammo ive used, also on our nikon scope. anyways yeah thank you, i already switched out my windage to the shorter one, looks a little funny b/c im used to both long ones but its going to help for storage!
@CallMeDoug87
Thanks for the comment. I’m glad it helped someone. My hope is that someone looking at buying this scope will know what their getting. I have watched other reviews about products and they have helped me I’m just trying to pass it along.
i have the same exact scope on my mossberg 100 atr 30-06. i love the scope, my only thing i wish the bdc circles would get smaller with each step down.
But thats a great idea about putting the short turret on the side, cant believe i didnt think about that. OH i also wish nikon made a no glare coyote thing for the 44SF we have. they have it in 40mm and 50mm (dont quote me on that).
anyways great video
