Whаt gοοd dοеѕ having a bіggеr object lens dο?
Alѕο, hοw саn I find sniper scopes wіth bіggеr eye pieces? I’ve bееn looking аll over thе web аt sniper scopes аnd looking аt thе millimeters. I thουght іt meant thе eye piece wаѕ thаt many millimeters, bυt thе I realized іt wаѕ thе objective lens. Thе eye pieces аll look lіkе thеу stay thе same.
I want a sniper scope wіth a nice bіg eye piece, ѕο thаt I саn јυѕt look іntο without аnу difficulty. Whеrе саn I find whаt I’m looking fοr?
I probably ѕhουld hаνе mentioned: thіѕ іѕ fοr paintball.
Hοw саn I determine eye relief whеn thеу don’t state іt?

Unless your hands are qualified and trained, then anything you touch wouldn’t be classified as “sniper”. An M40 in your hands is just a Remington Model 700. Just like a “ninja grappling hook” only has the ninja nomenclature if the person holding it is a ninja.
Eye pieces normally are roughly the same size. They would have to change the angles and design of a scope to get it to change very much either smaller or larger. You should look for something with longer eye relief possibly if you have difficulty staying at the distance of a standard scope. Just search for extended eye relief if that sounds like it will help your problem.
the bigger the objective lens the more light the scope draws in making things seem brighter and giving a little bigger image the best you can do for view side is optical relief, that is how far away you can be to comfortably see through your scope. if you are just looking for close range check out red dot scopes they give you a larger viewing window but lack the pinpoint accuracy of a scope for long range shots
I seriously doubt that anything a sniper would use for a scope would fit on a paint ball gun. You need to learn about how light and magnification works. Light comes into the scope almost parallel, except for paintball targets and comes out in a cone shape. The angle of the cone is determined by the magnification. You are wanting the diameter of the cone to match the diameter of your pupil. Any bigger or any smaller is bad. Get a scope with the correct eye relief (that is the distance from the back of the scope to your eye), mount it correctly, and learn how to hold a gun looking thing.
Look here for a little info. . . . . . . Maybe more than a little —–

for paintball I’d recommend a holographic or red dot sight. a scope is unnecessary unless your paintball gun can shoot accurately like a real gun and shoot at least 100 yards. scopes are generally for precision shooting, something paintball and airsoft guns are not capable of nor are they designed to.
a quality barska holosight is about $70. Google shopping “holosight”
its made of metal and extremely rugged. I have one of those for my 10/22 carbine (which is a real gun). You can scrimp for something cheaper like a plastic ncstar holosight for around $30, but I think it’ll be a waste of money when it breaks easily.
BSA makes a decent red dot scope (1×30mm) that’s easy to use and look into for quick aim. Big5 sporting goods sells them for around $35. Its metal and very durable.
