Looking fοr ѕοmе reviews οf owners preferably, anyone wіth personal hands οn knowledge іѕ аlѕο appreciated. I found thіѕ rifle fοr $399 @ Dick’s Sporting Goods wіth a Simmons 3×9x40 scope mounted οn іt. Thіѕ particular model іѕ WITHOUT thе accutrigger. Gοοd price? аnd уουr personal reviews appreciated. Thanks

Good gun for the price. The accutrigger is nice but,not required and later you can upgrade to a better scope if you like. Savage is really a good value.
Not a bad price. Remington runs a lot higher. A 9X scope is all you need for deer. Nikon makes a $200 scope called the Buckmaster and is a highly recommended scope.
i’m pretty sure you listed my first gun. I love mine, accurate even with measly . 32 acp with a conversion sleave at 200 yrds. I just wish it had the accu-triggers to toy around with. its a nice piece.
I really like the Savage 111. I have recommended them to many people and everyone has been delighted. The rifle is a solid “A” for a value priced gun.
The scope is sort of a dog. Package deal guns-scope combos always come up short on scope and mounts.
The Accu-trigger is really a very nice option. You should be ok without it, but if you can get one even better.
Excellent firearms for the price. I own one in . 30-06 and . 300 Win. Mag. and they have done everything I needed them to do so far. If I were you, I would swap the scope/bases/rings they come with though. I put Leupolds on both of them and seem to hold up a little better. They are light rifles, so expect some kick in return. They are a joy to carry around the woods all day, and, in my opinion, will do anything the average hunter needs them to do. Get one, you won’t regret it.
