Well, you’ve told us everything except what rifle you have. I know its made by Winchester, chambered in . 270, its black and has a scope.
I just don’t know what rifle it is: is it a M70? Is it a pre ‘64 or a classic, or a push-to-feed post-’64?
You own a dying and expensive caliber to shoot.
Depending on cond with the cheap simmons scope, $350 to $450. Prices on firearms haven’t dropped actually (risen) slightly unless you have a Commie SKS or Nagant.
About just what you paid for it. There is an oversupply of used cheap guns on the market right now. I personally wouldn’t pay more than $300 for the thing. Simmons scopes are throw-aways, polymer stocks don’t turn me on, and short magnum ammo will probably go by the wayside in another 10 years time.
Its probably the same price you paid for it. Though you could always ask a gun smith at like a Gander Mountain or Cabela’s to see what they would appraise it for. Scopes don’t really add value to a gun.
