Background: I was looking to buy a new airsoft sniper rifle and I was looking to get a barrett model. I found one at airsplat for only $200 or so but it wouldn’t let me add it to the cart no matter what I tried. (it said it was in stock) I did this a few days and finally gave up trying. I searched around and saw them going for $700-1000 on other sites and I was like, wtf?? I finally found a good deal for it at the airsoft megastore, but it was still $400. I tried one last time to buy it at airsplat.. And it didn’t work, so I coughed up the cash and it should get here by Friday this week. However, my question is this:
Whats the difference between the “JG Snow Wolf M99-1″ (airsplat) and the “Snow Wolf Tactical SR-01A” (mega store) ?? The megastore says they’re not the same, and I can see that because there’s a 3 pound difference. Just wondering if I overpaid, because I just found today that I can NOW add it to my cart only after buying the one twice the price >.<
Things I know: airsplats weighs 19lbs, megastores weighs 16
-ms (megastore) claims 500fps, airsplat 430fps
-ms comes wіth a scope, airsplat none. Don’t know іf thіѕ wουld add tο thе price.

3lbs, airsplats is heavier, made in china, lower velocity, cheaper gun. And much weaker springs
What I know for a fact is Airsplat chronos their own rifles, which means they test out the speed for each of their guns and they average the fps out that’s why they got 430 fps on the snow wolf. I checked out the photos for the one in Airsplat and one in megastore looks like they are the same. I was in shock, Airsplat sells it for around $189 whereas megastore sells it for $379!! Totally not worth the money for an extra scope. I also know that because the rifle weighs in at 19lbs in Airsplat it just means that this rifle is more of a realistic gun that the one in megastore, if it isn’t the exact same item. Maybe the difference in weight is also because they might not have added the bipod’s weigh on there, could be anything. Both models look to me to be the same, but with Megastore being almost twice the price, ouch! I checked out Airsplat and they seem to have it in stock now. I called and talked to a rep who said that they just got it in.
