yes you can but i did one time and missed a dear three times. they are terrible they are just to get you on the target. just go out and shot it to site it in

ANY sight. . . no matter what type, has to be zeroed to the gun you install it on. . . . they do NOT work right out of the box.
If it doesn’t fit into the bore it can NOT be used as a bore sight.
Considering your level of knowledge on this topic I would highly recommend you find someone to help you or do it for you.
Lasers are the way to put you in the neiborhood of where to djust your sights for a scope on paper, however they don’t take in eefect the bullet trajectory and still need manual sight in, so in word NO.
When you use a lazer to boresight your rifle to a scope it’s probably not going to be dead on. Will still need some minor adjustments. Even if you buy a gun with the scope already installed it may be boresighted but not sighted sighted, still will need adjustments. Another thing is that different people will have different results with the same gun.
