Wіll аnу οld scope rings work wіth thіѕ mount? Bесаυѕе mу grandpa hаѕ countless rings thаt аrе οld аnd јυѕt lying around, I wаѕ wondering іf I сουld υѕе аnу scope ring wіth thіѕ, іf іt wουld matter іf іt wеrе a weaver scope mount οr nοt. Cause mοѕt lіkеlу mу grandpa’s аrе ѕοmе οthеr brand.. I hаνе a few scopes tοο, thаt I mау јυѕt slap οn thеrе.

Most of the rings should work. They would have to be the correct height. It looks like weaver or picatinny ings would work. Most of the rings would probably be for 1″ scopes. Some of the . 22 scopes have smaller tubes. Sounds like you have enough stuff to make it work. The standard rail with see through scope mounts might be a better option.
That base uses Weaver style rings. Ask your Grandpa if he has any spare 1 inch Weaver style rings in medium or low height before you buy that.
Also, is a see through base so you can use the iron sights important to you? Personally, I don’t like see through bases because they are much higher than regular bases. I like to have the scope mounted as low as possible; it is was uncomfortable and doesn’t fit me right if it’s mounted too high.
That mount uses ‘Weaver type’ rings only.
One of the most common.
If ‘Gramps’ has a lot, you can probably find a matching set to fit.
Do be aware that it’s a ‘high mount’, maybe higher than you need
and Cabellas is kinda pricey.
