Just my two cents. . . but save your money for more functional, performance upgrades.
same here, save your money. If anything, dont pay full retail. Find something at an eBay wholeseller like

When it comes to paintball, scopes are unnecessary for a number of reasons. you probably won’t have time to use a scope to aim, and if you do, your gun hade better be damn accurate and you had better have practice a lot with it. Also, if you get shot on your scope, the paint can leak inside, rendering it useless. also, the humidity can fog up the lenses pretty quick. how do i know? I put a scope on my 98 custom when i first started playing. I encountered all these problems (and then some), so i just ended up using it like binoculars, for vision enhancement only. I also tried a red dot sight on my phantom, even more useless. at least i could use the scope to check for enemies in the distance, you know?
That being said, save yourself some trouble (and money) and stay away from scopes and red-dot sights.
